January 2023 Meeting.

Chapter A Louisville, KY had our first meeting for the New Year and our first meeting being part of Wing'D Rider. Chapter C and G were in the house and even a few from Chapter B in Indiana. Rick Cridlin from state was there and had his awesome Chapter A shirt on!! Tom White had his bright tennis shoes on. Jeff from Chapter C won both the 50/50 drawings for a total of $70 and Debi got to draw for the marble game but did not draw the winning marble. Also, Chapter G won the Traveling Plaque!! Chapter A went to Lexington Ky yesterday to visit Chapter C. It was too cold to ride but we had fun anyway!!

Chapter A visited Chapter G in Florence , Ky on February 7th and won the Traveling Plaque by default since no other Chapters made the journey. The Traveling Plaque will be available at our meeting this Saturday at Roosters on Shelbyville Rd in Louisville, Ky. We eat at 11am and meet at noon. COME GET IT!! Chapter A Louisville KY had a great February meeting with visitors from Chapter C and Chapter G. We had 30 people in attendance. Tom White led the meeting since Ray and Angela could not attend. Chanel Blue, a new member, was able to attend her first meeting and we welcome'd her and explained a few things about "how we roll". Also, Tom announced that Chapter A completed 19 Chapter visits in 2022 and we went on 38 scheduled rides and additional shorter rides after our meetings on the 2nd Saturday of every month for a total of 52 "official" rides last year!! Chapter A loves to ride!!! For our 50/50, Donita Nardi from Chapter G won $30 and Danny Drane from Chapter A won $18. For our marble game, Jason Gillenwater had the winning ticket but did not draw the winning marble. Thanks to all who played! Chapter G was able to win back the Traveling plaque with 5 members in attendance. The plaque will be available at Chapter G's meeting the 2nd Tuesday in March in Florence, Ky. February 15th Dinner Ride to Upland Brewery right across the river in Jeffersonville, IN. It was a beautiful night for a dinner ride (in February believe it or not!!) Great friends, great food and a pretty sunset!!

February 25th Kentucky State Operations Meeting in Hebron, Ky. A day of learning and planning with people from all over the State of Kentucky. There was a Friday night event at Turfway Park and a Saturday night Murder Mystery Dinner. Proud to part of Kentucky Road Riders and Chapter A Louisville KY.
