Grip size

Greetings, I have a 2006 GL1800HPN and wish to change the heated grips. What size grips should I get? I searched Google and it produced results of both 1" and 7/8"??? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I don’t know what the actual diameter of the grips are, but using ISO grips as an example there are two different sizes for the first gen 1800. One size for non heated and another for heated. Maybe the grips for your heated bike are the larger ones?

Thank you. I hadn't even considered a larger size of heated grip, over a non-heated grip.
