Electrical Gremlin

My 2015 Audio/Nav/Comfort has been giving me fits. One time I turn it on and all is fine, next time I have no indications on the Nav screen except for the map, no intercom, cb, and XM, no sounds at all. Latest is the fog lights went out as well. If I turn the bike off and back on, sometimes it fixes itself. Had no issues until a three day ride in heavy rain over Labor Day weekend.
It will work many times turning on the key, then it doesn't. I've tried the contact cleaner and canned air in all switches and reverse switch, thought all was good, last night it did it again. turned the bike off and back on and all problems were gone again.

George, I've found that once moisture gets IN, it's a bear trying to get it back out. If your ride is kept in a garage, try setting a fan where it will blow into the faring. Air circulation for a couple of day into the faring should help get rid of the moisture.

Have you had the battery load tested? It seems like electrical gremlins on these bikes come down to the battery more often than not. I don't know if that would include the fog lights, but the battery is usually the best place to start.
