I have a 2006 1800 Navi and the display screen is showing dead pixels. Besides the $2,000.00 replacement from Honda is here a better price and place to purchase?

You can search Ebay or Alibaba for item number LQ065T9BR55U. MAKE DARN SURE IT'S LQ065T9BR55U. Others claim to be compatible, and may be for other applications, but not for the GL1800.
IF you feel brave, and you get a 54U, you can cut/block out pin 19 on the ribbon cable and it should work. This screen supplies power to pin 19 and that burns out a transistor on the main board.
It's best to play it safe and get the original part number: LQ065T9BR55U.
(I stole this information from elsewhere. I'm no expert and I did not figure this out.)
EDIT: Actually, I read some more and found the 55U is also causing problems. Seems manufacturers may be marking them incorrectly. The latest recommendation is to block pin 19 regardless of the replacement you get. You can use an X-acto knife to cut it out or put a piece of tape over it. You can cover pins 18, 19 and 20 since none of them are used.
