I have no clue where our chapter is going. They paid for the next 2 years of the location we meet but participation has declined so dramatically. In 2004 when I first joined GWRRA there were 50+ attendance, in 2010 there was 70-80+ attendance, and now if 20 attend it is a full house. Riding used to be forefront every year and then the GWRRA University and removing the chapter educator came in 2017 and from 3 or 4 rides a month became 1 or 2 a month then 2 or 3 long distance rides for the whole season. Because of family health reasons (not my own) I could not ride for 4 years. I tried to get more riding last year and I had quite a successful turnout. This year I refreshed my participation in an internet meetup group and I have more riding on my rides on average than the chapter has. While I'm leading the rides for the meetup group - I'm having a positive feedback. These riders are exactly the target riders needed to infuse growth in the chapters. They are average ages of mid 30's to mid 40's.
I see you're on the exact diagonal location from me - you're on the northwest Pennsylvania vs. my southeast Pennsylvania.

I went to that event and it was great….good friends, good food, good motel and great fun. Missed out on the following event because I could not find any information on it, Hope we get a repeat next year…Thanks to all who worked hard to make it a great weekend….
