"Shop/Apparel" merchandise shipping costs

I wanted to order a Wing'd Rider Heavy Cotton Long Sleeve T-Shirt from the online store for $37.99, but the additional $19.49 shipping cost (51% of the purchase price) soured the deal for me. Admittedly, I must be spoiled by Amazon Prime! However, a USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box shipped from Arizona to Florida is less than $10. Similarly, a 1 pound UPS Ground small box shipping cost is about $13. Sounds like the Wing'd Rider shipping costs are priced for larger, bulk orders? Please re-consider shipping methods/costs for small orders. Thank you.

John ,,, medium sized USPS priority mail flat rate shipping box is $18.90 and we are located right across the street from the main post office here in Tucson. Fed ex medium sized flat rate box is simular. That is why we charge only one shipping price, regardless of how much you order, so that we can get at least one hat (without squishing it) and 2-3 t-shirts in the same box.

However, I am going to skim off a little profit on these items, in hope that it adds to sales volume. I am changing the flat rate shipping to $13.90 per order later today. I appreciate your input.

Thanks, John. I ordered a couple caps and a shirt to try and lower the average shipping per item. I guess in my mind that works better. I'll be ordering some vino soon... maybe a couple more items for gifts.

We have just reduced the flat rate shipping charge again on the WRWebsite check out to $9.90 ,,, our people have worked very hard to find less expensive shipping options for these products leading up to the holidays.
