I received Carlinkit for Christmas. It works great in my car and also seems to work good on my gold wing. I have a battery case for my phone so the charging isnt an issue for me. I have used it in my Jeep renegade for 4 hours with no battery problem. It takes close to a minute after my Sena 50s makes its connection before the wireless CarPlay starts.
I have to use a strange startup sequence even without wireless to get my Sena to connect on the first time.
1. Start the bike.
2. When the first message shows up on the screen, start the Sena and immediately turn the bike off
3. When you hear the sena start to connect restart the bike.
4. After you hear radio, in about a minute, the wireless apple CarPlay will start.
This procedure works every time. I thought I would share this with Wingd Riders.
